Practical Handgun provides the opportunity for students to practice shooting fundamentals and learn various skills related to defensive shooting under close supervision by a certified instructor in a small group setting. ( student ratio 1:3)

Fundamentals: Stationary Drills
Different Shooting Positions
Movement: lateral, advancing/retreating
Shooting from Cover
Equipment Required:
- Strong side kydex holster with retention made specifically for the firearm. Outside the waistband *No Blackhawk Serpa Holsters* or any holster that requires you to press a button to release tension.
- Min 3 magazines
- 1 Mag Carrier ( or pockets will do!)
- Ear and Eye protection ( electronic hearing protection strongly encouraged)
- Brimmed Hat
- Ammunition (min 200 rounds)
- Rain Gear
- Sturdy Belt that fits your holster
- Semi auto handgun (preferably 9mm)
Skill Level: Novice to intermediate If you can load, rack, unload, lock your slide back and use safe gun handling, then you are ready! We will teach you how to draw from a holster if you don't already know how. ( if you are not sure of your skill level, please ask)
COST: $155
$50 deposit required to reserve your spot. pay pal or venmo accepted to avoid fee. Balance of $105 to be Paid on or before class.
Refund Policy: Full Refund with 30 days cancellation notice. 29 to 15 days cancellation notice a credit will be issued for another class within the calendar year. 14 days or less and no show will result in total forfeit of deposit, no credit. Class held Rain or Shine ( unless range conditions are unsafe) We will refund you if we are able to fill your spot!
