It is crucial to learn how to draw from a holster safely!
This course will focus on safe and efficient ways to draw from the holster, "present to the target" and re-holster.
Topics covered:
- Learn the importance of choosing the right holster.
- Learn the proper method to safely draw a gun from a holster.
- Participate in "dry fire" activities in the classroom
- Practice drawing from a holster on the range. Live fire.
Other skills may include:
- Drawing from concealment
- Balancing speed and precision
An excellent way to "test the waters" and ease fears that may accompany learning how to draw from a holster is by using a blue gun, an inert training pistol. You may use "blue guns" in this class as a safe alternative to a real gun or an unloaded firearm and dryfire. ( no live ammunition) if you choose.
Not many ranges allow drawing from a holster. If you already have experience working from a holster but have no where to practice live fire, you can attend this class to get some live fire shooting while working from the holster.
