Our preliminary Agenda for BOTH days of this 2-day weekend event is detailed below. (Note: Agenda is subject to change prior to event at the discretion of the organizer).
Saturday Oct 4th - Day #1
The Saturday session will include both a morning and afternoon Seminar based on self-defense.
Seminar 1 Topic: Gun Retention This session will provide you with hands-on experience in the best practices of maintaining control of your firearm if someone is trying to take it away from you.
Seminar 2: Off Body Concealed Carry This session will help you to understand the risks, safety factors and skills related to off-body carry. Off-Body carry includes using a purse, fanny pack, etc. to conceal your firearm.
On Saturday ONLY we will also feature a Gun Demonstration by Canik of Century Arms. This is a chance to see & learn about and try their most popular and latest firearm models.

Todd Dunkle
Todd is a career law enforcement professional with extensive experience in firearms training for plainclothes, concealed carry professionals and civilians.
- 30 years of experience as an instructor for firearms, self-defense and combative training.
Devin McManus
Devin currently owns and operates Black Dog Firearms Training LLC in New Hampshire. She also holds many certifications & credentials including:

Sunday Oct 5th – Day #2
This session will be our Range Day/Live-Fire training day outdoors. Please note we will be out of the classroom this day for “hands-on” training. (Note: Itinerary/Seminar Topics are subject to change at the discretion of the organizer). Topics to be covered this day will include:
· Pistol Fundamentals
· Moving and shooting
· Shooting from different positions
· Holster work
*Day #2 Pre-Requisite*: You must have had prior formal training in order to participate in this session. If you have not yet met this requirement, please contact the organizer directly before signing up. Please also reviewbelow carefully to see if you meet the standards required for participation.
Skill Level REQUIRED for Pistol range sessions: If you can load, rack, unload, lock your slide back, use SAFE gun handling with a pistol, and put rounds on the target, then you are ready! We will teach you how to draw from a holster if you don't already know how. If you are not sure of your skill level, please ask the organizer directly. We will divide students on range as based on their skill level. THIS IS NOT A BRAND-NEW SHOOTER EVENT.
Equipment you will need for participation:
· Handgun – chambered in .380 or a higher caliber (although micro guns are NOT recommended)
· Holster - specific to your handgun (Must be hard sided/KYDEX, outside the waistband/OWB). NO HOLSTERS that require you to press a button to release tension, such as the Black Hawk Serpa holster. No Inside the waistband/IWB holsters are allowed (we are not drawing from concealment)
· Magazines – a MINIMUM of 2 mags (if you have mag capacity of less than 10 rounds per mag, then you will need at LEAST 3 mags)
· Mag carrier – these are helpful but not required
· Sturdy belt – please check that this fits your holster
· Eye and hearing protection – your “ears & eyes”. Eye protection can also include sunglasses, you may bring an alternate pair for off-range. Your ear protection should preferably be electronic. (don’t forget the batteries!)
· Hat – A brimmed “baseball”-style cap works well
· Ammunition – A MINIUM of 250 rounds of “target” ammo appropriate for your handgun
Additional non-mandatory/suggested items include:
· Comfortable athletic-style shoes and clothing (waterproof boots/shoes in case of inclement weather are also recommended – and extra socks)
· Sunscreen/bug spray
· Food & Snacks (this can include breakfast/lunch), Beverages (water, electrolyte/sports drinks, etc.) You may also bring a cooler.
· Rain gear & umbrella (THIS CLASS IS RAIN OR SHINE!)
· Notebook and pen
COST/FEES: Registration Fee for BOTH Days (Saturday & Sunday) - $265
· A Non Refundable Deposit of $75 is required to reserve your spot when you register online
· A Balance due of $190 required by August 2, 2024, in order to hold your spot
· When you register for BOTH days (Saturday & Sunday) the following is automatically included with your 2-day registration: The (2) Saturday Seminars and the Canik Demo, Sunday’s “range day” training, a limited edition 2024 Girlz n Guns Training Weekend T-shirt, and a chance to win door prizes.
· If you register by July 5th, 2024, you will get an extra door prize entry
· You MUST Register by August 2, 2024 to be guaranteed a T-shirt with your registration.
Registration Fee for SATURDAY ONLY - $170
· A Non Refundable Deposit of $75 is required to reserve your spot when you register online
· A Balance due of $95 i required by August 2, 2024, in order to hold your spot
· When you register for Saturday ONLY the following is included with your 2-day registration: Access to the (2) Saturday Seminars and the Canik Demo (a T-shirt and door prize ticket are NOT included for Saturday-only participants).

ADDITIONAL EVENT DETAILS
Lodging: Lodging can be found in Chester or Lancaster County, PA in close proximity to the event location. Participants often book at a hotel of their preference, however many choose The Waynebook Inn - https://waynebrookinn.com/home If a room-block/group rate is able to be obtained by the organizer you will be notified.
Refund Policy:
Life happens and sometimes last-minute situations arise that can prevent you from attending. Unfortunately, we will be unable to provide refunds as time goes on due to financial obligations incurred by Girlz N Guns. In some cases, registrations may be transferred to another participant and you may try to find someone who may want to pay you for your spot.
· A Full Refund (minus the online registration fee) will be given with a 60-day cancellation notice prior to the event date
· A Credit will be issued for another class ( within the calendar year with a 59 to-30-day notice ) cancellation notice prior to the event date. ( for the amount paid)
· IF YOU CANCEL after Sept 1st there are no refunds.
